How the Post Office, Senda and Cap Digital facilitate the life of urban traveler

How to get digital innovation to the general public? How to the phenomenon known experts in the gradual adoption by the majority? What are the technologies that will pierce the coming months?

Future in the Seine , to be followed in time, is an initiative that allows the user to "experience in the real some of these technologies. Test use triggers interest and adoption. The feedback "consumer" is immediate.

Take Senda which facilitates the life of the urban traveler optimizing its journey in Ile de France. They publish Chronomove Paris, an application to download on iTunes, which compares trips: multimodal, price, time, carbon footprint.

The Post, whose local network is very powerful, has funded the initiative Senda. When you make 50 times the Earth Tower every day, you try furiously to optimize routes and transport, 15% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2012 and to anticipate population movements.

Cap Digital has put into the hands of the public. The optimized distances between the 40 sites Future-in-Seine have been preloaded and are readily available on each site of the event. Quite in line with the objective of Cap Digital, which serves more than 400 SMEs in the Ile de France, and sought to demonstrate the technology in a real context.

This is a good example of successful collaboration around an ambitious innovation and useful.
